An OPP officer with the Hearst detachment has been charged after a crash on Highway 11. It happened in December when the cruiser collided with a pick up truck. The officer had only been with the police force for nine months at the time. He has been charged with failing to yield to traffic properly. There were  no injuries in the crash.
