A week long nursing placement in Moose Factory and Moosonee has students thinking about career options. Laurentian University students who take their classes at Northern College were learning more about Aboriginal culture and traditional medicine in the post. They spent time in the community, the hospital, and public health centres. One student, Katy Albrecht, says it solidified her interest in pursuing a nursing career in the North.
