Small and medium-sized businesses in Northern Ontario are getting a $50,000 boost. The federal government is giving the Innovation Initiatives Ontario North group money to speed up productivity technologies. Nipissing – Timiskaming MP Jay Aspin made the announcement in North Bay along with the federal minister for science and technology. Aspin says the faster we move ideas from a laboratory setting to the marketplace, the faster we create jobs.
