So you enjoyed the smooth ride along all four lanes of Rae Hill on your way home Tuesday. But it’s back to the reality we’ve been dealing with all summer.
The highway along that stretch is back down to one lane in each direction. The city’s director of public works and engineering confirms that paving work is done. However, Pat Seguin says light standards and rumble strips will be installed over the next week and a half, as well as some work on the shoulders.
He’s hoping that all gets done by the end of next week, although he says there might be a few remaining items left to do in early September.
