There is light at the end of the ongoing construction work on Rae Hill.

City of Timmins communications coordinator Heather Duhn says it’s almost time to move traffic over to the two new lanes.

“The first of the paving started this past weekend and it is moving along quite nicely,” she tells My Timmins Now Dot Com.

“By beginning of day Friday, we should be able to start changing lanes by then.  Right now, the crews are just continuing to work on finishing the shouldering on the side that they’re currently working on and installing the guide rails.”
