This year’s Winter Hiking Day is this weekend. It’s happening on Sunday at Hersey Lake. The event features a winter survival presentation from Search and Rescue, and a guided hike. Experts will talk about how plants and animals can survive the extreme cold. There will also be kids activities, a bonfire, and hot drinks. It’s all starting at 1 PM. The high on Sunday is expected to be around minus 20.
