You might be noticing a higher presence by Timmins Police in the Connaught Hill area of South Porcupine.
It’s because of several complaints lately about things like speeding and ignoring stop signs.
A release from police headquarters points out that with warmer weather finally here, there’s more pedestrian traffic in the area, with kids going to and from school or parks, and riding their bikes.
The release adds that aggressive driving will be met with “a firm and determined response”.
