When it comes to supporting those Alzheimer’s and dementia, it’s time to make some moves!

540,000 Canadians are living with Alzheimer’s Disease and/or another form of dementia. Chances are you know someone who is living with it, or assisting with those affected by it. While research continues to search for a cure, their work  would not be possible if it were not for our communities coming together to support initiatives for the Alzheimmer’s Society across the country.

With the IG Wealth Management Walk For Alzheimer’s on May 25th, the Alzheimer’s Society will once again be taking their message to the streets, and is asking the question: Who are YOU walking for?

For the Alzheimer’s Society of Timmins-South Porcupine District Executive Director, Tracy Koskamp-Bergeron, it’s her Nana that she is walking for.  Moose Mornings with Tom sat down with Koskamp-Bergeron to talk about the importance of Walk for Alzheimer’s, the fun that is had by its walkers, and how a little walk can make a big difference.
