A record amount of money has been raised this year at the Snow-a-rama. Over $20, 000 was raised for the Easter Seals. The event brings snowmobilers together to go for a ride on the trails, either guided or alone. The Regional Administrator for the Easter Seals, Carmen Bazinet, says the money helps out locally.

She says the money goes into helping kids with physical disabilities. 


Bazinet says some of the money does go into helping kids in Timmins. This is the 41st year the event has run. The total amount raised was $20,370.00 with 41 participants.
