Downtown Timmins will be transformed into an urban park again this summer… for the eighth year in a row.
BIA executive director Noella Rinaldo says opening date is Wednesday, June 26th… with an early Canada Day celebration planned for Friday the 28th.
The usual Thursday farmers market will be larger this year… with new vendors joining in.
And Rinaldo says Tunes at Noon will be back every Friday.
“We have a stage and you’re able to go and bring your lunch and sit down and listen to some great local music,” Rinaldo explains. “That’s something that’s been going on now for seven years, and it’s a great way to showcase some of our local talent.”
