The overnight parking ban should stay as it is, says city staff. There has been a lot of debate over the past few weeks on if there should be changes, and if so, what would work best. Among the options tossed around at city council are starting the ban later on weekends, and allowing overnight parking but not daytime. James Lefebvre, from city enforcement, says the ticketing system is working. He says they gave out over 50%Â less tickets this year than last. As it stands now, there is no official plan to change the bylaw, unless a councillor makes amendments and brings them to council.
