chool buses for all four school districts in Timmins have been CANCELLED for today (Friday, April 12th). Schools will remain OPEN.
The cancellations affect all four of Timmins’ school boards:
- Conseil Scolaire Public du Nord-Est de L’Ontario
- District School Board Ontario North East
- Northeastern Catholic District School Board
- Conseil Scolaire Catholique de District des Grandes Rivieres
School buses are cancelled in Cochrane, Iroquois Falls, Gogama, Foleyet, Matheson and many surrounding areas due to road conditions.
With the freezing rain warning for Timmins and the area for today, the decision was made to stay the buses for today.
This is the 13th time that the school buses have been cancelled for the 2018-2019 school year.
