News Clear all sidewalks, says MAAC SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Friday, Feb. 6th, 2015 Timmins City Council is talking about the issue of snow removal on sidewalks around town. The issue stems from only clearing one side, and leaving the other full of snow. The Municipal Accessibility Advisory Committee sent a letter to council, asking if this can be looked at. MAAC says there is a safety issue involved, especially for those with disabilities or seeing-eye dogs. The issue is expected to come back to council for further resolution.
