The results are in for Sudbury’s by-election. Voters were at the polls yesterday, and voted Glenn Thibeault in as their MPP. Thibeault defected to the Liberals from his position as federal MP for the NDP. The election was surrounded in controversy, after the Wynne Liberal’s allegedly bribed original candidate Andrew Olivier to step down. The NDP has released a statement, saying the OPP Anti Rackets squad has reason to believe the Liberals committed a crime with the bribe. Wynne was in Sudbury yesterday for the election, but wouldn’t answer any questions about the allegations.
