Snow Removal Schedule – March 18th to March 22nd

Daytime and night-time snow removal by the city teams will be taking place this week, from March 18th to March 22nd . Streets could be closed, lanes could be reduced. The best bet is to find an alternate route to your destination. However, here are the roads that will be effected, and when city snow removal teams plan to clear them.

Daytime Snow Removal 7:30 Am to 4:00 PM

From March 18th to March 22nd 2019, the Public Works Department wishes to inform the public that crews will be doing snow removal.

Monday March 18th, starting 7:30 AM:

  • Timmins North: Renee Place, Lozanne, Kelly Ann
  • Porcupine: Michener, Clement, Bergeron, Renison

Tuesday March 19th, starting 7:30 AM:

  • Timmins North: Malette, Couture, Jean, Riverpark
  • Porcupine: Girdwood, Eric Crescent, Viola, Lawrence

Wednesday March 20th, starting at 7:30 AM:

  • Timmins North: Donna, Louise, McClinton
  • Porcupine: Spillenaar, Daniel, David, Tyyne Court, Ferguson

Thursday March 21st, starting at 7:30 AM:

  • Timmins North: Tamarack (Fifth to Ninth), Spruce (Sixth to Ross)
  • Schumacher: Claimpost, Innis, Miners, Delost, Prospector, Brundy, Lion’s Crest

Friday February March 22nd, starting at 7:30 AM:

  • Timmins North: Patricia (Toke to Howard), Murdock, Hart (Patricia to Howard)
  • South Porcupine: Julie, Sony, Nadine, Hellen

Night Time Snow Removal 9:30 PM to 7:30 AM

From March 18th to March 22nd, 2019, the Public Works Department wishes to inform the public that crews will be doing night time snow removal.

Monday March 18, starting 9:30 PM:

  • Timmins North: Mountjoy North, MacLean

Tuesday March 19th, starting 9:30 PM:

  • Timmins BIA & North: Maple (Third to Fifth), Elm (Third to Fifth), Messines, Waterloo (Algonquin to Vimy)

Wednesday March 20th, starting 9:30 PM:

  • Timmins North: Theriault, College (Theriault to Westmount)

As a reminder, the above plan, or parts of the plan, may be changed at any time and/or delayed if a winter storm is in effect or related to mechanical issues. The snow removal crew will change to a snow plowing operation. Those streets that may not be done will be done on the next available snow removal shift.
