The Conservative government is ending their practice of giving away hundreds of hockey tickets to friends of Canada Post and Via Rail. Timmins-James Bay MP Charlie Angus says the conservatives were telling seniors they had to walk through the snow for their mail because they couldn’t afford to deliver it. However, Angus says, they could afford to give away tickets. He says the Harper government can’t be trusted to respect taxpayers.
