Snow Removal Schedule – March 11th to March 15th

Daytime and night-time snow removal by the city teams will be taking place this week, from March 11th to March 15th. Streets could be closed, lanes could be reduced. The best bet is to find an alternate route to your destination. However, here are the roads that will be effected, and when city snow removal teams plan to clear them.

Daytime Snow Removal 7:30 Am to 4:00 PM

From March 11th to March 15th 2019, the Public Works Department wishes to inform the public that crews will be doing snow removal.

Monday March 11th, starting 7:30 AM:

  • Timmins North: Victoria, Westmount

Tuesday March 12th, starting 7:30 AM:

  • Timmins North: Emilie, Fay, Lamminen, Spooner

Wednesday March 13th, starting at 7:30 AM:

  • Timmins North: Shub, Rheaume, Morandin

Thursday March 14th, starting at 7:30 AM:

  • Timmins North – Demine, Rosemarie, Lalonde, Lois

Friday February March 15th, starting at 7:30 AM:

  • Timmins North: Tamarack (Fifth to Ross), Hemlock (Fifth to Ross), Spruce (Sixth to Ross)

Night Time Snow Removal 9:30 PM to 7:30 AM

From March 11th to March 15th, 2019, the Public Works Department wishes to inform the public that crews will be doing night time snow removal.

Monday March 11th, starting 9:30 PM:

  • Mountjoy: Riverside (Joseph to Shirley), Shirley (Lafleur to Bonaventure)
  • South Porcupine: Harold

Tuesday March 12th, starting 9:30 PM:

  • Timmins BIA: Pine (Kirby to Algonquin), Cedar (Kirby to Sixth), Balsam (First to Sixth)
  • South Porcupine: Bruce (Legion to Lakeview), Golden (Legion to Evans), Main (Strachan to Shamrock), Crawford (Golden to Shamrock)

Wednesday March 13th, starting 9:30 PM:

  • Timmins: Algonquin Blvd East (Hwy 655 to Mountjoy)
  • Schumacher: Schumacher Highway (Carium Road to Hwy 655)

As a reminder, the above plan, or parts of the plan, may be changed at any time and/or delayed if a winter storm is in effect or related to mechanical issues. The snow removal crew will change to a snow plowing operation. Those streets that may not be done will be done on the next available snow removal shift.
