News Students to get their own iPads SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Thursday, Jan. 29th, 2015 A new iPad initiative is being introduced by the North Eastern School Board. The plan is to have all students from grades 5 to 11 set up with their own tablet. Over 2000 will be given out, starting next fall, in the $3.5M investment. The plan was voted yes by board trustees at a meeting on Tuesday. Grades 7 through 11 will get their tablets in the fall, and the rest will be rolled out in 2016.
