CN Railway sued over 2012 forest fire

Ontario is suing CN Railway over a 2012 forest fire in Timmins. They are suing for $38 million. The MNR says the blaze was started after a train passed through the area. A piece of hot metal flew off the track, allegedly from wear or buildup on the track. It was the biggest fire in Ontario in half a century, burning 40, 000 hectares of bush and camp. CN is denying all allegations.
