The transportation supervisor for three of the four boards in our region is unapologetic. . Ryan Hartling says not only were early conditions taken into account…
“We had some snow covered roads, icy sections, blowing snow, there was reduced visibility, there’s a special weather statement that’s in place,” he says. And that weather statement indicated that conditions would be no better – maybe worse – by this afternoon.
“I’d like to find a weatherman who’s 100% on all the time, you know what I mean?” Hartling comments. “But you kind of use the information that you have and you make a judgment based on that.”
