Provincial police say a Timmins man was killed in that collision on Highway 11 near Cobalt wednesday morning that forced the closure of the road for seven hours.
They identify the victim as 57-year-old Steven Mitchell.
Two other people were brought to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries… as a result of the collision between an SUV and a pick-up truck.
Investigators are asking that if you saw anything regarding the collision or driver behaviour leading up to it… that you call the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
