Timmins Police are investigating the death of a 50-year-old man this morning. He was found in apparent medical distress in the washroom at McDonald’s on Algonquin Boulevard.
TPS Communications Coordinator Marc Depatie says the man was rushed to Timmins and District Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Depatie says the man was known to local police, and foul play has not yet been ruled out.
An autopsy will take place in the coming days.
Anyone with information regarding the issue is asked to call TPS or Crime Stoppers.
