Hydroponics de-mystified.
That’s the aim or a presentation this Saturday afternoon at the public library in South Porcupine.
Branch head Louise Gaudette says Borealis Fresh Farms – a local organic operation – will talk about gardening in a solution made up mostly of water, and contained in a pod.
“We’re hoping to educate people on to what that process is,” she says. “So all of those names and all that, these people will come in and give us this presentation.”
“If you’ve ever wondered how hydroponics works, it seems difficult,” Gaudette adds. “ I don’t think it is, and this will be one of the those ways of demystifying that.”
