An official candidate has been named for the Timmins-James Bay NDP riding. Current MP Charlie Angus accepted the nomination at a meeting in Timmins last week. Angus says his team is ready for the 2015 federal election.

Angus says the election should be called for the fall, but that date is up in the air.

Angus says whenever the call comes in, he and his volunteers are ready.
