Snowmobilers rejoice! Some OFSC trails in Timmins are open.
Timmins Snowmobile Club president Raymond Corbeil attributes it to “recent cold weather, some new snow (and) hundreds of hours of volunteer time in packing and grooming.”
The trails that have opened are classified as either “limited availability (yellow)” or “available (green).”
Corbeil reminds riders that any sled using the trails must have a valid trail permit, and that you use them at your own risk.
