Two small words repeated 41-thousand-one-hundred-and-47 times. Those words — “thank you” – are a token of how appreciative we at Moose FM are.. for your contributions to the Feeding Families Radiothon, yesterday, live on the air from Timmins Square.
FINAL UNOFFICIAL RADIOTHON TOTAL: $40,147.00
That number of 41-thousand-plus matches the unofficial dollar amount raised for the Stan Fowler Santa Claus Fund, to feed needy families at Christmas.
During the wrap-up, Moose FM program director Shane Button started his thanks with everyone who dropped off a donation at the Square.
“Thank you to everybody who called in and donated,” he continued. “Thank you to all the Lions members who are still standing behind me and stuck around, some of the you the entire 12 hours. So thank you for spending your entire Thursday here with us.”
