Timmins Teen Returns Home From Treatment

A Timmins teen has made his way home following some further treatment in his battle with rhabdomyosarcoma.

15 year-old Braedyn Johnstone is back in the city of Timmins following two further weeks at Ronald McDonald House Charities in Toronto with his mother Jeannette where he has been receiving radiation and chemotherapy treatments.

Jeannette Johnstone says that the RMHC has been wonderful to them, offering places to relax, eat, enjoy some entertainment and the staff has been terrific.

She says Braedyn will need weekly chemo for the next few months, but thanks to the support from the Timmins community, he will be able to fly back and forth for treatments.

Jeannette also says they are so grateful for having the RMHC and how it brings them as close to the feeling of home as can be.

Anyone who would like to lend their support to Braedyn and the Johnstone family can do so by donating through here.

During the months of November and December, all online donations will be matched by another generous donor, meaning the gifts will go twice as far for those in need.
