The city will have its chance to see Santa and his elves this weekend.
The Santa Claus Parade will make its pass and stop through Timmins this weekend on Saturday.
Hosted and put together by the Timmins Chamber of Commerce and the Timmins BIA, there is expected to be about 50 floats in this year’s parade.
The parade is expected to start at Timmins Transit Station on Spruce Street and make its way onto Algonquin Boulevard, then onto Pine Street before going south to Third Avenue and following the street up until Mountjoy.
There is no on street parking along the parade route starting at 4:00pm, and the parade kicks off at 6:00pm near Saturday.
