A crash along Algonquin Boulevard has injured a bystander.
Timmins Police were alerted of a crash in the early evening hours on Tuesday.
Traffic Section investigators determined that the pedestrian was crossing Algonquin at the time of the incident at the intersection just west of Highway 655.
The injured bystander was rushed to Timmins and District Hospital by ambulance for medical attention, the full extent of injuries is still unknown however the victim was conscious at the scene.
TPS says they are seeking the public’s help in terms of witnesses to come forward and share their info with investigators.
TPS also is reminding residents to be mindful and cautious when crossing the street especially during the winter months when visibility is reduced.
