The new Hampton Inn in Timmins is set to open on schedule. The 115 room hotel should be opening its doors early next year. 20 of those rooms will be larger style suites.
The news was announced at a Chamber of Commerce luncheon this week.
The developer for the project, Darko Vranich, was named as 2013 Developer of the Year for three Hampton projects, including the one in Timmins.
The hotel is creating new jobs in the city, and hiring is ongoing.
