Timmins Police Chief John Gauthier says he will not comment on recent controversy. Gauthier allegedly withdrew two tickets that were given to a city councillor last May. Both the OPP and the OCPC have investigated the matter. The issue is still before the Ontario Civilian Police Commission. In a press release sent out yesterday, Gauthier says it is business as usual for the Timmins Police.
