Downtown businesses are in the spotlight.
The Downtown Timmins BIA recognized some of the work being done in the core at its annual awards night. The BIA says its great to recognize some of the awesome work being done in the community by local businesses. This year’s winners include:
- New Business Award: Pure Beauty by Cassie, One on One Fitness and Nutrition with Sharon Kerr, Myo Solace, Danni’s Body Piercing, Rockhouse Studio and Searching for Solutions
- New Locations: Plan A Timmins, Quantum Realty Services Ltd., Hart Esthetics, Timmins Minor Hockey Association and The Literacy Network Northeast
- New Expansions: Mi Casa Fashions and Astrid’s Bookkeeping
- Brick and Mortar (murals on the buildings): Chistopher’s Coffee House, Cy Rheault Construction Ltd., Rivera Represents and Don’s Pizzeria
- Community Partner Award: Timmins Daily Press
- Business Community Supporter Award: Bermuda Tan
- Leadership Award: Andrew Marks
- Remi Boileau “Very Best” Award: Timmins Flower Shop
- Lewis P. Currie Award: Mary Ellen Pauli
The Downtown BIA says this awards night falls in small business week to show support and celebrate what we have locally.
