A Timmins man is in jail for an assault.
The Timmins Police Service says yesterday morning officers were called to a west end trailer park. Police reports say a man broke into a home with a weapon and threatened the people inside. TPS says officers found the suspect with methamphetamine tablets on him.
The 43-year-old man is facing five charges including:
– Break and Enter a House
– Assault with a Weapon
– Possession of a weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
– Uttering Threats
– Possession of a Controlled Substance
He is in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
