Organizers say this weekend’s fun in the sun went off without a hitch.
Cochrane Summerfest’s 10th annual event couldn’t have had better weather according to organizers. Committee Chair Roxanne DesRoches says this year’s family event was bigger and fuller than the last few years.
DesRoches says the new pavilion seemed to be full of people all Saturday and Sunday’s mud bog was loud and dirty like always. She says this year there were more contests, activities and fun for all.
She says now that this year is over, plans are already in the works for next summer.
