It’s going to be a hot start to the week.

Environment Canada says Timmins is now in the middle of a heat warning bringing high temperatures and humidity.  The weather agency says daytime temperatures will range from 30 to 35 degrees with the humidity making it feel more like 36 degrees.

It says you are encouraged to stay as cool as you can and drinks lots of water. The weather organization says you should plan your outdoor events and exercise in the cooler parts of the day.

Environment Canada says things should start cooling off by Wednesday.
