It’s time to soak up some more summer fun this weekend in the north.

Cochrane Summerfest kicks off its 10th anniversary celebrations tomorrow with a weekend full of family fun activities at the new pavilion.

Event Chair Roxanne DesRoches says most of the activities will take place on Saturday with live regional music starting at 11:00am, vendors, inflatables for the kids and some new interactive activities.

DesRoches says tomorrow will kick off the the festivities with a street dance. She says most of the Saturday activities will be held at the pavilions and there will also be a Show and Shine downtown. She says if you like to get dirty, the Mud Bog is back on Sunday.

DesRoches says there is a small charge to get into the event.

For adults the entry fee costs $30 for adults. DesRoches says this event is a perfect way to come out a live like a northerner.
