There are no fire damages at the old paper mill property in Iroquois Falls.
The Iroquois Falls Fire Department says it received a call at about 7:30pm Saturday about a fire at the warehouse on the old site. Riverside Developments was preserving this building to repurpose it as a food hub for farmers in the Claybelt region.
Chief Dan Boucher says a pile about 80 to 100 metres long of demolition materials were on fire.
Boucher says luckily the fire was contained and there were no major damages.
He says the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
