Aquatic Centre Update Coming to Council

Detailed designs for the proposed multi-use recreational centre have been delayed.

Timmins City Council will have to wait to look at some more designs for the proposed $48-million pool and multi-use facility that would take over the Archie Dillon Sportsplex.

In the winter, developers with Perkins and Will presented council with designs that include an eight-lane competition pool, leisure pool, family-friendly play zone, squash courts and indoor walking track.

This new report coming to council in the near future could include more accurate and ongoing costs for the project.
