A Timmins man has died in a Highway 69 crash.
The OPP says officers responded to a collision about a kilometre south of Harris Lake Road in the Archipelago Township last night. Police say a car heading southbound crossed the centre line and clipped the back wheels of a commercial vehicle, corrected and headed towards the west ditch, then over corrected crossing the centre line in front of a northbound car. Officers say both cars ended up in the ditch.
35-year-old Alain Lamontagne from Timmins was killed in the crash and two passengers from the vehicle were taken to hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was examined at the scene and released.
The investigation into what caused the collision is still ongoing.
