A few new names have been added to the municipal election race.
Five more people are putting their names on the ballot for councillor and school trustee positions. Colleen Landers and Liliane Francis are vying for school board spots. Three people are putting their names in for Ward Five councillor positions including Cory Robin, Jason Sereda and Alex Szczebonski. Other people with their names on the nominee list include:
- John Curley – Ward Four
- Rock Whissell – Ward One
- Veronica Farrell – Ward One
- Bob Brush – Trustee
Steve Black is currently the only one running for Mayor.
You have until July 27th to apply for the election race. You will be hitting the polls this fall to vote for a new council.
