A Timmins man is in jail facing weapons charges.
The Timmins Police Service says Thursday night, officers were called to south end because of a weapons call. Police say they immediately contained the area for public safety.
Police say a 31-year-old man has been arrested without incident and faces multiple charges including mischief under five thousand dollars, uttering threats and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The man is in custody awaiting a court date.
