A Timmins man is facing assault charges after an incident outside a bar.
The Timmins Police Service says police were called to a downtown bar early yesterday morning after getting an assault call. Police say two men told officers that they had been assaulted by a man who ran away.
TPS says quickly after getting a description and photo of the suspect, officers found and arrested a 28-year-old man. He is facing charges of aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
The man is in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
