30 year old Byron Spence is appealing his first degree murder conviction. He was sentenced to life in prison after being found guilty of shooting his brother, Jonah Trapper, in 2009, at their South Porcupine home. In the application, Spence says some of the evidence was tampered with, among other reasons. There has been no date set to hear his appeal.
