A few more names have been added to the municipal election list.
The City of Timmins will be holding a municipal election this fall for mayoral, councillor and school board trustee positions. Nominations for the next council term opened up on May 1st.
Veronica Farrell and Rock Whissell have both added their names to the list for ward one councillor positions. This is added to the list of John Curley for ward 4 councillor, Steve Black for Mayor and Bob Brush for school board trustee.
The city says you have until 2:00pm on July 27th to put in a nomination. Click here for all election information and nominee list. Â
