You can ride the bus for free this Sunday.
Timmins Transit is making all its services free to celebrate Earth Day. Transit says it is encouraging people to take public transit rather than drive to help reduce the city’s carbon footprint.
The city says that if you take the bus instead of driving, it can keep about 168 tonnes of pollutants out of the atmosphere each year. Timmins Transit says it will have a regular bus schedule this Sunday. Click here for route and schedule information.
