Flu shots are now available in Timmins. Jennifer Bisson, a nurse from the Porcupine Health Unit, says even though you may be young and healthy, getting the shot does more than just keep you safe from influenza. She says getting the shot will also keep those around you protected who may not be able to get the vaccine. Bisson says an example of that would be infants, the elderly, or those with allergies. Check out the events calendar below for when and where to get the vaccine.
