You will be able to voice your opinions at a public meeting.
The City of Timmins is hosting a public meeting to get feedback on a proposed campsite for Stars and Thunder. The campsite would be temporarily placed on the Eastview RV property at the Kamiskotia Road and Government Road intersection. The proposal says the property would host camp sites and recreational vehicle spots from June 15th to July 7th to allow for set up and tear down, with the campsite operational between June 22nd and July 3rd. This property was used as a campsite for the eight-day event last year.
Everyone is welcome to share their thoughts, whether for or against it, at the meeting. The public meeting will be held in Council Chambers at 4:00pm on May 1st.
