Grade five students have put their engineering skills to the test.
Students at Ecole publique Lionel Gauthier participated in a popsicle stick bridge building competition as part of National Engineering month. Students had to build a 500-millimetre bridge made out of 200 popsicle sticks and glue to see how much weight it could hold. Some of the grade five students said they learned a lot from this activity.
Many of the students say engineering is something they will consider as a career.
