Theriault’s Family Is Not Pleased with the Court’s Decision

The family of 19-year-old Austin Theriault believes there was no justice in his murder trial.

After nearly two years, 19-year-old Nathan Koostachin has pleaded guilty to manslaughter after Austin was found dead in Bozzer Park. Koostachin was given a 10-year prison sentence.

Austin’s dad Bryan Theriault says he feels that his son’s case was just pushed through the system.

Theriault says he was just looking for the pursuit of justice, which he didn’t get.

He says the family is now looking for ways to move on. Theriault says he is talking to City Hall about beautifying and naming the path Austin was found on after him.
