Algoma Manitoulin MPP Mike Mantha gets it that Elliot Lake residents want people held accountable over the collapse of the Algo Centre Mall.When the final report on the mall came out last week some residents pressed the OPP on whether more criminal charges would be laid in connection with the cave-in.The OPP would only say their investigation is ongoing.Mantha understands why the OPP won’t say anymore than this. He says any questions they may have could be for their investigation, and giving away any information might compromise that. Mantha believes the OPP will use the final report on the mall collapse to move their investigation forward.
